Obituary of Fredric Earl Munier, October 2, 1931 – February 2, 2015

MUNIER, Fredric Earl “Fred,” 83, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada from Richmond, Virginia in 1987.

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Fred was a retired retail manager for K-Mart Corporation for forty years and had presently been working for MGM Resort in Special Events. He was a member of the American Legion (Nevada department, Post 0008), the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, U.S.A. 32nd degree, the Valley of Cleveland.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Joseph and Gladys Suzanne Munier; sons, Charles Earl and Dean Fredric Munier; and great grandson, Rusty. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Robin Wadley Munier; sons, Fredric M. Munier and wife, Cindy of Garden City, Kansas and Joseph Wadley Munier and wife, Marietta of Wesley Chapel, Florida; daughter, Suzanne Harriet-Mae Chavez-Balderrama and husband, Ruben of Holiday, Florida; daughter-in-laws, Pam and Nancy; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jeremy, Victoria, Austin, Cody, Joseph Jr., Charlotte, Ruben Jr., and William; and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at Veteran’s Chapel, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV 89005 at 11:20am on February 24, 2015.
