Ronald “Ron” Glenn Brown, 90, of Concord, NC is now dancing in Heaven with his beloved wife of 66 years, Joan. He passed away on March 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving daughters.
Ron was born in Verona, Ohio on May 20, 1932 to the late Glenn and Evelyn Brown.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Joan Brown.
He is survived by his daughters Brenda Clem (Gary) and Janice Freistuhler (Nick); grandchildren Joe, Jennifer, Josh, Julie, and Jenna; 14 great grandchildren; and brother Francis Brown.
In his earlier years, Ron worked as a delivery driver for Nestle and delivered milk. He also worked as a leadman at Parker Hannifin for over 30 years. While living in Ohio, He served as part of the Verona Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years (1958-1989). He enjoyed racing go-karts and stockcars until his children came along and his wife Joan thought it best he retired from that hobby! He and his wife spent every winter in Sebring, Florida. They were true snowbirds. Ron was known for his sense of humor as well as his humble and kind spirit. He loved his family dearly. He is now with his wife whom he cherished above all else. “As the sun rays fall upon my face, I feel you in my heart. Your light will always fill my soul, well never be apart.”
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
